The Challenge

Awbery Management Centre are a leadership and management, HR and coaching solution provider. Working with clients across the UK and Europe they have built their reputation on the breadth and depth of our expertise and high quality client care over the last 21 years. They are one of the largest ILM Centre’s in the East Midlands as well as a leading CMI Centre. With the nature of the business face-to-face training was the key to their business, however, they had a vision of implementing eLearning into their blended learning approach.

The Solution

Awbery Management Centre was on a learning curve themselves! The business was embedding eLearning as part of their blended learning approach. We looked at the Holistic Leadership Course which was delivered over a 10 day period, however, working as their Strategic Partner and their business goals and objectives in mind, we helped discover two modules would be worth developing as an eLearning modules. This enabled the trainers to analyse the capabilities of the learners before the next face-to-face module. We also provided a Learning Management System solution and they were able to administer this themselves, with training and support from us.


    Optimised Learning acted as our sounding board and strategic partner and gave us a solution in which we were able to 'test the water' as it were with eLearning and a blended learning approach. They were able to help us scope out the requirements with eLearning and fit in with our budget. They were very knowledgable and understood the Instructional Design aspect of eLearning.
