The Challenge
Nationwide Platforms are the UK’s market leading provider of powered access platforms. Part of the world’s largest specialist access hire and rental business, Lavendon Group plc. From the 26 depots across the UK they offer the widest selection of powered access equipment and to complement the access platform equipment they offer a wide range of accredited IPAF Training, PASMA and health and safety courses. They currently have a team of eLearning Developers within their Media Team, but the team was under pressure to deliver and they had limited skillsets, that's why they came to us to build their animated course.
The Solution
We worked closely with the Media Team and Subject Matter Expert to define the scope and understand the target audience for the proposed course so we were able to develop a highly interactive and engaging eLearning course. The course was to be developed as a pre-requisite course in preparation for the face-to-face course delivered two weeks later. Learners would then participate in an online assessment to assess their knowledge of the subject which was covered in the blended learning. We delivered the course on time and as Nationwide Platforms already had a team of developers we handed over the source files for them to maintain in the future.
